As in previous years, 2017 SEMA Show presented an impressive range of new models. One of them is the 2018 Ford F-350 Operator by Hellwig, a truly impressive edition from this company. It was made in coordination with several companies. This model has no real competition in the market, and the main drawback is the lack of drones. Still, we will mention Nissan Titan XD Pro-4X Project Basecamp and Nissan Navara EnGuard.

With a lot of upgrades, it differs significantly from the model on which it was made. The main difference is the 2017 Artic Cat Wildcat X LTD two-seater UTV mounted on the bed (partly on the roof of the cabin). This ultimate recon adventure vehicle has a T-Rex X-Metal grille. Built are Vengeance Fab Fours front and rear bumpers, as well as Lund fenders. Of course, there are LED daytime running lights, large front and rear lights (optional LED), fog lights, as well as a lot of additional lighting. The cab features Tactical seats with Rogelio’s Upholstery and telescopic leather steering wheel. We assume it will have automatic climate control and a large touchscreen.

Based on the 2017 Ford Super Duty F-350 Lariat Crew Cab with four doors. It will likely have the following external dimensions: length 250 inch (6350 mm), width 80 inch (2032 mm), height 85.8 inch (2179 mm) and wheelbase 159.8 inch (4059 mm). Placed at the Method Race 305 NV HD wheels with Falken Wild Peak M/T Off-Road tires. The standard model has a towing capacity of 15,000 lbs (6804 kg), while the payload is about 4,000 lbs (1,814 kg). In addition, we assume it will be harder. The concept model can accommodate five passengers.

2018 Ford F-350 Operator has all-wheel drive, combined with a 6-speed TorqShift automatic transmission. Unlike the standard Lariat model, only the 6.7-liter V8 Powerstroke turbo diesel engine is available. The production of this engine is 440 hp and 925 lb-ft (1254 Nm) of torque. Fuel consumption data has not been announced, but it is known that it has a new MagnaFlow Pro DPF performance exhaust system.

Finally, the official price of the 2018 Ford F-350 Operator has not been announced. Of course, it’s clear that it will be much more expensive than standard Ford Super Duty models.
