Still in the second generation (like Chevrolet Colorado), the 2018 GMC Canyon is ready for the market. It is currently available at authorized dealers, and will soon be in sales outlets. Also launched the Denali model in the spring of this year. In addition to Toyota Tacoma as the main rivals we highlight Honda Ridgeline.
This mid-size pickup truck has chrome radiator grille, body-color bumpers (with silver inserts), as well as complete LED lighting (except fog lights). Built-in vinyl, cloth or leather seats, climate control, telescopic leather steering wheel and 8-inch touch screen. There are eight external and two interior colors available. In the cabin it is possible to accommodate 2, 4 or 5 passengers, while lenght the load space is 61.7 or 74 inch (1567 or 1880 mm).

Like the predecessor, it offers four trim levels, two cab configurations with two or four doors. Payload and weight vary slightly: payload from 1386 to 1605 lbs (from 629 to 728 kg), while the weight is from 3997 to 4782 lbs (from 1813 to 2169 kg). The towing capacity is unchanged: from 3500 to 7700 lbs (from 1588 to 3493 kg). Depending on the model has aluminum wheels of 16, 17 or 18 inches.
2018 GMC Canyon has a rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The first is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine of 200 hp and 191 lb-ft (259 Nm) of torque. As standard has the 6-speed automatic transmission. The fuel consumption of this engine is 20/26/22 mpg (RWD) or 19/24/21 mpg (AWD). With an optional 6-speed manual transmission (RWD only), the fuel consumption is 20/26/22 mpg. The second is a 3.6-liter V6 engine of 308 hp and 275 lb-ft (373 Nm) of torque. This engine also has a 6-speed automatic transmission, with a fuel consumption of 22/30/26 mpg (RWD) or 20/28/25 mpg (AWD).
With a slight difference in price, the 2018 GMC Canyon starts at $ 20,885, while the most expensive models will cost up to $ 38,565. Of course, the Denali model is significantly more expensive.
