Another special edition from this company named 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Mountain was shown to the public. It is based on this year’s 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. This Snowcat is designed for snow-covered mountain trails, developed in cooperation with Vail Resorts and Mattracks company. The official presentation was on Vail Mountain and Colorado, but the date of sale is still unknown. Also, it is not known if they will have a limited number of copies.
Built is a large grille and body-color bumpers, daytime LED running lights, halogen lights and front fog lights. It also has LED off-road lights for undercarriage lighting. Cargo bed has a soft tonneau cover, with a length of 78.86 inch (2003 mm). Noticeable is a GMC Red finish with Bodyside graphics. The cabin has leather seats, telescopic leather steering wheel, automatic climate control and probably an 8-inch touch screen (GMC IntelliLink infotainment system).
This concept will have the same exterior dimension as the 2500 HD Denali: lenght 239.5 inch (6083 mm), width 80.5 inch (2045 mm), height 78.2 inch (1987 mm), while the wheelbase 153.7 inch (3904 mm). Mounted on rubber tracks with a long and wide print, and is powered by a large internal wheel. For now, it only offers Crew Cab with four doors, designed to accommodate five passengers. Weight is unknown but will have about 2205 lbs (1000 kg) of upgrade. The payload is 2513 lbs (1140 kg), while the towing capacity is 13,500 lbs (6123 kg). It also has a All Terrain X suspension.
2018 All Mountain will have a 6.6-liter V8 Duramax turbo diesel engine of 445 hp and a torque of 910 lb-ft (1234 Nm). This engine has a 6-speed Alison 1000 automatic transmission with two-speed transfer case. Fuel consumption is not known to us, but it will probably be higher than the standard model.
Of course, the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD All Mountain will be significantly more expensive than the standard 2500 HD Denali model, which costs $ 59,145.
