After several earlier versions, one more special edition was recently presented to the public. It’s the 2018 Nissan Titan AT-M6 Walker. In addition to six other models, he had his first public appearance at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. This Jedi Pickup is inspired by Stars Wars movies. Probably will have an official presentation at some of the car fairs in the first quarter of next year. Depending on the start of the serial production, we believe that the first models will be on sale in the end of 2018. Probably in a limited number of copies. Anyway, we’ll have to wait a lot. It differs significantly from the basic models, primarily in the external design. As for the engine, there will be no significant difference from the standard 2018 Nissan Titan.
It is mostly made of aluminum, with plenty of 3D-printed parts, especially on side elements. Except a cargo bed upgrade with satellite dish-looking equipment and six megacaliber cannon, the front bumper also has a pair of proper blasters. In addition, a lot of upgrades are cover under the bonnet. Like the standard Titan model, it has a chromed mesh grille, with identical front headlights. Also, the rear bumper and lights do not have any significant differences. The only difference in the cabin is sound equipment with stomping AT-M6 Walker effects. Of course, there are cloth or leather seats, leather steering wheel, automatic climate control and 5-inch color display. It will probably also offer a 7-inch touchscreen with the Nissan Connect infotainment system.
The external dimensions of the AT-M6 Walker will not deviate much from other models for the year 2018. The wheels are with hydro-dip graphics, and there is a noticeable greater distance from the ground. Weight will be greater by about 1500 lbs (680 kg), or about 6500 lbs (about 2950 kg), while payload and towing capacity will not differ significantly. In addition to the standard model, it will probably no longer have any trim levels. For now, shown is only a crew cab with four doors. It is possible to accommodate at least five passengers.
The only variant of the engine is the 5.6-liter V8 Endurance petrol engine. In any case, it will not be less than 390 hp and 401 lb-ft (544 Nm) of torque. The rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive has a 7-speed automatic transmission. We believe that they will have the same fuel consumption as standard models.
If there is a serial production, there is no doubt that the 2018 Nissan Titan AT-M6 Walker will be much more expensive than the standard 2018 Nissan Titan.
