At the beginning of this decade the production of these special editions has ceased. Finally, we present the 2019 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Concept. Now, Ford has teamed up with Harley-Davidson and Tuscany Motor Company. It’s considerably more aggressive than the standard Ford F-150, the inspired Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle. First of all, it is distinguished by unique styling features. Although it has not been officially confirmed, yet the production starts soon, while sales are likely to wait for second part of next year.
Embedded is a revised grille with a honeycomb mesh insert, ram-air hood, custom fender flares with functional vents and LED light bar. Also, front bumper has a cap with its own skid plate, while the rear bumper caps are with exhaust cut outs. In addition has a Flowmaster exhaust system with billet aluminum tips, BDS Suspension lift kit and FOX Factory Inc. shocks. There are several Harley-Davidson appliqué on the exterior elements and in the cabin. Built-in two-tone diamond stitched quilted leather seats and steering wheel. Of course, there’s automatic climate control and a large touchscreen at the center console.
Placed at 22-inch Fat Boy-style aluminum wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires. However, the production model is likely to have a 22 inch tires. 2019 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson offers only a super crew cab with four doors, designed to accommodate five or six passengers. The external dimensions do not deviate much from the 2019 Ford F-150 Super Crew, but it will probably be a bit tougher. Also, we expect higher payload and towing capacity.
There is still no official information about engine selection. However, we expect two engines from the standard F-150. These are the 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost and the 5.0-liter V8 engine. We recall, the standard 3.5-liter has 450 hp and 510 lb-ft (691 Nm) of torque, while 5.0-liter has 395 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. In any case, provided are 4×4 and 4×2 drivelines, combined probably with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2019 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson Concept is exhibited at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee (Wisconsin), first of all to mark Harley-Davidson’s 115th anniversary. Unfortunately, the price is not yet known, but in any case it will be much more expensive than the standard model.
