As the most luxurious variant, the brand new 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 is ready. The presentation is at the current 2018 New York International Auto Show. The first models will appear in sales during the autumn, or at the end of this year. First of all, it is intended to rival the new Ford F-150 Raptor, but are also significant the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro and RAM Power Wagon.
This luxurious pickup truck features a blackened-out look of the exterior, and has a lot of similarities with Midnight Edition. The massive radiator grille and the bumpers are body-color (front bumper has a red tow hooks). Of course, the complete lighting is in LED technology. Embedded are MultiPro Tailgate, and optional offer carbon-fiber bed. In addition, the cabin has a lot of dark-tinted accents, Jet Black/Kalahari accents at leather seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and 8-inch infotainment touchscreen. Also offer optional multi-colored head-up display.
It will probably only have a Crew Cab with four doors, designed to accommodate up to six passengers. Placed at exclusive-designed wheels of 18-inch (optional offer 20-inch), with Goodyear Wrangler Duratec all-terrain tires. External dimensions are the same as for standard models. Unfortunately, there is no known weight, payload and towing capacity.
It is certain that they will have the same engines as the standard GMC Sierra 1500, but they will probably be much stronger. Of course, they are the 5.3-liter V8 and the 6.2-liter V8 engine. Both engines have a stop/start technology and a new Dynamic Fuel Management. Like a standard has a 4WD with a two-speed transmission case, combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also features a Traction Select System, a two-inch suspension lift kit, locking rear differential and off-road tuned, Rancho monotube shocks absorbers. Of course, mentioned is and a brand new 3.0-liter inline-six turbo-diesel engine.
The 2019 GMC Sierra AT4 sales start in autumn or late this year. Unfortunately, there is no official cost information. All in all, it will be more expensive than standard models, but also cheaper than the listed competitive models.
