The 2018 Hannover Motor Show presents in 2019 Nissan Navara Dark Sky. Developed in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA), inspiration from the cosmos. This mobile astronomy lab has a a world-leading observatory-class ultrahigh-power PlaneWave telescope, located on a bespoke off-road trailer with a special refrigerated atmosphere. Trailer functionality accessed via remote control, and which supplies Nissan portable battery packs.
Bumpers, lights and sides are significantly redesigned. It is distinguished by Nissan’s semi-autonomous Propilot driver assistance technology and the Intelligent Towing Hitch Alignment system. In addition has a World-class Nissan Intelligent Mobility systems and eight combined radar units. Noticeable is a dark exterior color scheme with nebula motifs in parametric patterning, while the interior has a brings together the deep hues of the night sky with the orange shades of a setting sun. 2019 Nissan Navara Dark Sky is a total length of 381.1 inch (9680 mm). The truck has a wheelbase of 125.9 inch (3198 mm). It is 212.6 inch (5400 mm) long, height is 75.6 inch (1920 mm) and width 72.8 inch (1850 mm). The distance from the ground is higher by 5.5 inch (140 mm). It is available with Dual Cab and four doors, designed to accommodate five passengers. The trailer is long 159.8 inch (4060 mm) and high 81.1 inch (2060 mm). The truck is mounted on 20-inch aluminum wheels with off-road tires, while the trailer has 16-inch wheels.
Unlike other Navara models, there will be only one engine. Built was a 2.3-liter four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine of 187 hp and 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) of torque. The drive is on the rear wheels or on all four wheels, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. It will probably also offer an 7-speed automatic transmission. We assume they will have the same combined fuel consumption: 37.3 or 36.2 mpg (MT), ie 34.6 or 33.6 mpg (AT).
